Weld Tip Bull Barrel cutting tips are of a completely new design to increase productivity. These unique tips are for cutting situations where tips must endure harsh elements and rough environments. The heavy duty design assures safety, more productive cutting, extremely long tip life and an economy of use. The Bull Barrel cutting tip is utilized in steel mills, scrap yards and rail yards and is ideal for any job where cutting tips receive abusive treatment. Scrappers are available for almost all common torch brands.

 

1. HEAVY DUTY FLANGE

Scrappers have thicker shell flanges than leading OEM tips. This adds strength and integrity where the shell and internals seal together.

 

2. SOLID COPPER SHELLS

Bull Barrel are machined from solid copper rather than thin tubing used by the leading OEM's. The Bull Barrel shell is thicker and heavier, designed to last longer under heavy use. Bull Barrel tips will last up to three times longer than the leading OEM tips.

 

3. EXTRA HEAVY SHELL END

Bull Barrel tips are designed extra heavy and thick at the end of the shell where most tip abuse takes place. The added thickness greatly extends tip life from reflected heat, abrasion, dragging and hammering.

 

4. LARGER DIAMETER PREHEATS

Bull Barrel tips feature a larger preheat diameter internal than the leading OEM's tips. This decreases preheat time, maintains the cut on painted, scaly, rusty plate and increases cutting speeds.

 

5. COARSE "V" SPLINES

Scrappers have a coarse "V" spline, which is ideal for cutting rusty, scaly or painted coated plate by hand. The coarse spline does not clog easily and may be cleaned quickly with a pocket knife or wire brush.
